Welcome to the Cairn Eilrig, Glenmore

Cairn Eilrig, which means Cairn (hill) of the Deer Walk, is wonderfully located in the Glenmore Forest Park (Forestry Commission) in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, just behind the Reindeer Centre in Glenmore.

“You have a wonderful home and we thank you for making us feel part of it.  Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the views, longer to enjoy the area (your recommendations were most welcome) but most of all longer to enjoy your breakfasts”

Things to do & see

Funicular_11I have a selection of books about the local wildlife and walks which I am happy to loan to guests who would like to explore the area during their stay.

If you are looking for a real sense of this beautiful location I can recommend a trip on the funicular railway up Cairngorm mountain, you will feel on top of the world! (image courtesy of www.cairngormmountain.co.uk)
